Earlier this month I did a review on Sesame Street's Love The Earth DVD. It was a great DVD, but even though my youngest enjoyed it, he's not about to choose Sesame Street when I allow him to watch a DVD.
So instead of letting the DVD sit around unused, I'm going to give away our very gently used copy of Sesame Street's Love the Earth.
Here's what you've got to do to win it. Leave a comment to this post telling me one way that you are going to be greener this summer than you were last summer.
I'll keep the contest open until Thursday, June 5th and I'll pick one random winner from all the replies.

For Earth Day this year, we cleaned out our cleaning products and replaced with Green cleaning products.
I am going to be composting every bit of non-recyclable carbon-based refuse that comes through my kitchen at my new home (now that I have a backyard of my own!). I'll also be building a rain-barrel modeled on my favorite local non-profit's beautiful rain barrels painted by local artists that are (unfortunately/fortunately) not in my price range thanks to their popularity when offered for fundraising auctions. :)
I'm going to ride my bike everywhere I can. I didn't have a bike last summer and now i not only have a bike, but I also have a trailer attached that I can pull my daughter in. It's big enough to hold a few groceries, books, or toys too. Luckily we're close enough to ride just about anywhere that we go!
I will be using my clothes line instead of the dryer and also only doing laundry in the early morning to conserve energy.
I'm using reusable grocery bags now instead of paper or plastic. I'm amazed at how many bags would have piled up otherwise!
Hi there,
Just found out about your site through EcoBunga! and really like it! We garden every year but this summer we've added a few new veggies we don't normally do like peas and okra! We're also raising chickens for fresh eggs this year and are hoping to get a goat for milk and manure!!! My 13 mos old son would love the DVD. Thank you for the opportunity!!
I plan on riding my bike to close friends' homes and stores.
This summer I am riding my bike to the local farmer's market every other day to get fresh and local produce for my family.
We are taking recycling walks in our neighborhood for our recycling cans project. We also are using reusable grocery shopping bags and try to walk as much as possible. I'm hoping to teach my 7 month old son great habits from this and use the conversation opportunities that come up to teach him life lessons. Great job every one else!
This year we have done two things to "go greener". First we have made a better effort to fill our recycling cans every week..even the 2 year old is recycling! And second we have replaced our household cleaners with a bottle of rosemary essential oil mixed with water! The results are amazing! Not only does it disinfect and clean better than cleansers but you don't get dizzy while cleaning! And you can use it for everything!
